Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Kocubi collects, uses, shares, retains, and protects personal data across its website, accounts, creator tools, and paid services.
Information we collect
We may collect your name, display name, email, profile image, Twitch or other sign-in account identifier, creator profile data, links, user-configured chat content, variables, feature settings, IP address, device and browser type, sign-in and usage logs, support communications, and information needed for service security. We do not ask for a telephone number or postal address unless needed for a specific request or legal obligation.
Subscription and payment information
For Pro, we may retain the plan, billing period, amount, currency, payment status, payment date, customer and transaction identifiers, and limited card information such as card type or last digits supplied to us. Kocubi does not store full card numbers or CVV codes.
Purposes and reasons for processing
We use data only as needed to create and authenticate accounts, provide features, save settings, display pages or overlays you publish, connect services you choose, manage plan access, subscriptions, and cancellation, secure the service, prevent fraud, troubleshoot, answer requests, comply with law, and improve Kocubi. We will not use data for an incompatible new purpose without notice or consent where required.
Payment processing
Sensitive payment details are submitted directly through secure payment systems. Information may be processed by payment-processing partners, card networks, and banks to authorize transactions, verify them, prevent fraud, manage disputes, or process reversals required by law. Kocubi does not store full card numbers or CVV codes.
Cookies and sessions
We use cookies or similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember language preferences, and support security. Some essential functionality may not work if these cookies are disabled.
Sign-in and connected services
When you choose a third-party sign-in or connected service, that provider may send information covered by the permissions you approve. Infrastructure, identity, and streaming-platform providers may process data to help operate Kocubi.
Sharing and sale of data
We do not sell personal data. We disclose only necessary data to hosting, database, identity, streaming, analytics, communications, support, and payment-processing providers; professional advisers; lawful authorities; or parties involved in a merger or business transfer. Recipients must be subject to appropriate confidentiality and security duties.
Retention periods
Account, profile, and settings data are retained for the account lifetime and deleted or anonymized within 30 days after an account-deletion request; backup copies may remain for up to 90 additional days. Security and access logs are retained for up to 12 months, closed support communications for 2 years, and transaction, accounting, tax, and dispute records for up to 10 years or the period required by law.
Data security
We use access controls, encryption in transit, session management, event logging, and proportionate technical and organizational safeguards. If a data incident occurs, we will assess its impact and notify affected people or authorities where required by law.
Your personal-data rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access or a copy, correction, deletion, restriction or objection to processing, withdrawal of consent, and data portability. You may also complain to the relevant data-protection authority. Withdrawing consent does not affect lawful processing completed before withdrawal.
How to make a data request
Email [email protected] from your account email with the subject “Privacy request” and state whether you request access, disclosure, correction, deletion, or portability. We may request additional information to verify identity. We normally respond within 30 days or the period required by law and will explain if a request cannot be completed in full.
International data transfers
Some service providers may process data outside Thailand. For cross-border transfers, we use safeguards appropriate under applicable law, such as contractual protections, purpose limitations, and security requirements.
